Ronald McDonald House hosts annual bake sale to benefit families in times of need

The 33rd annual bake sale at the Ronald McDonald House is happening Friday.

The bake sale takes place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Columbus Ronald McDonald House at 711 E. Livingston Ave., across the street from Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Items for sale include a wide selection of baked goods featuring their famous pumpkin rolls, crafts, books, holiday gifts and a lunch served by the Madison Twp. Fire Department.

"The Columbus Ronald McDonald House is the largest Ronald McDonald House in the world and we would like to invite the community to come see what we are all about," said CEO & Executive Director Dee Anders.

All proceeds from the event benefit Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio. The charity helps to keep families together when kids are being treated at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
