Three arrested in connection with death of 17-year-old girl in Grandview Heights

Three people have been arrested in connection with a Grandview Heights death investigation.

On March 31, officers responded to a home in the 1200 block of Broadview Avenue on the report of a possible narcotics overdose.

Police say the victim, 17-year-old Haleah Myers, of Dublin, passed away several days later at the OSU Wexner Medical Center.

The official cause of death has not been released by the Franklin County Coroner.

The arrest warrants were filed in court on Wednesday for the following individuals as a result of an on-going investigation:

  • Caleb Alexander, 20 -Felony count of tampering with evidence.
  • William Alexander, 44 - Felony count of possession of narcotics.
  • Shirley Alexander, 67 - Felony count of permitting drug abuse.

Both William and Shirley Alexander were arrested Wednesday morning and taken to the Franklin County Jail.

Caleb was located in Dayton and was taken into custody without incident. He is currently being held at the Montgomery County Jail.

Additional criminal charges are pending.

This investigation is still on-going at this time.
