Columbus Police are now searching for suspects accused of driving off with a construction trailer from a Linden business.

"We can't find guys to work here, yet they can come in here and steal a trailer," said Tony Ramos, owner of TFR Construction on East Hudson Street. Ramos says his surveillance cameras captured a man bust into his locked fenced lot earlier this month The man then waved in a driver to where a trailer was parked, with wheelbarrows and construction cones inside.

Within minutes the trailer was hitched to a pick-up truck and driven off the lot. "That hurts everybody because as a small business we have to be competitive, it really hurts us," said Ramos.

Police say the vehicle that drove off with the trailer is a white 1500 Chevy Silverado with an extended cab and steel wheels. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Columbus Police 614-645-4545
