COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — There is now a social media controversy for U.S. Senate candidate Josh Mandel.
Twitter removed a post from Mandel after he asked his followers who will commit more crimes if they come into the U.S.
When ABC 6/FOX 28 asked him this week about other controversial tweets, Mandel said, "I make decisions based on my core beliefs."
On Thursday, Mandel said, "Big tech should never have the power to decide what speech is allowed in America and I won’t ever shy away from holding politicians accountable for their terrible policies."
Mandel announced in February that he is running for the soon-to-be-open U.S. Senate seat in Ohio.
