Shots fired into homes, arguments, and an internet sale were among the reasons Columbus officers investigated seven shootings across the city on Sunday, including four shootings that occurred within a half-hour of each other.

The most violent time frame spanned between 8:23 p.m. to 8:51 p.m.

Eakin Road

The violent day ended at 3691 Eakin Road with the most serious shooting. A man was rushed to the hospital after shots were fired at Wedgewood Village Apartments.

A person in the hallway fired several shots into the unit, detectives said. The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition, police said.

Morrill Avenue

Records showed the violent day began with Steve Gibson, 45, being shot in the area of 35 East Morrill Ave. He told investigators he'd got in an argument with an unknown man before 2:30 p.m when he was shot in his leg. Police said Gibson walked into the ER at that at Grant Medical Center, and he was being treated there in stable condition.

North 4th Street

Just more than two hours later, someone fired shots at three people near the intersection Chittenden Avenue and North 4th Street, east of Ohio State's campus. Police said no one was injured.

Bleaker Avenue

Officers responded to the next shooting at 5389 Bleaker Avenue. Investigators said 39-year-old Glenda F. Arnold was shot in her shoulder around 7:14 pm as she was cooking inside a home.

An unknown person outside fired shots at the house, police said. Arnold was at Mount Carmel East, but she was expected to physically recover.

Gimbles Drive

More than hour later, two people were shot in the 1400 block of Gimbles Drive.

Both victims were stable at hospitals, a dispatcher said. Additional details on the circumstances of that shooting weren't immediately available.

Bremen Street

The night's next shooting may have started as robbery at 3127 Bremen Street.

Police said a man was shot around 8:33 p.m. when he met someone to buy an item posted for sale online. That victim was also stable at Riverside Hospital, police said.

Cleveland Avenue

Roughly two minutes later, officers were sent to a Speedway at 3974 Cleveland Ave. for a shooting.

Police said Kani Justice, 19, was shot in his leg following an argument with an unknown man as they entered gas station. Justice was shot outside the store as started to walk away, detectives said. He was being treated at Riverside Hospital, but police also expected him to physically recover.

Investigators haven't connected any of the shootings. No arrests have been reported. Police have withheld names of the other victims as the multiple investigations continue.
