Witness: Victim shot 4 times in North Linden area

Columbus Police are investigating after a witness brought a gunshot victim to the hospital Saturday night.

Officers responded to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital around 10:30 p.m. after a witness to a shooting brought the severely-injured victim to the hospital.

According to the witness, the victim, 34-year-old Michael Davis, was shot a total of four times— in the arm, leg, shoulder, and abdomen— in the North Linden area.

Columbus Police said officers were unable to find the scene of the shooting.

Davis is expected to recover from his injuries.
