COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) - A little boy who visited Santa Claus at his local mall didn't ask for toys for Christmas. Instead, he asked for a miracle.
Prestyn Barnette, 4, asked that Santa pray for a sick baby across the country from him.
The boy's aunt, Rebekah Sharpe, said the prayers were for 2-month-old Knox Stine, a baby who is fighting for his life in a Las Vegas hospital. Prestyn reportedly learned of the little boy while spending time with his grandmother, who is part of a local prayer group.
Baby Knox is being cared for at Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas after he was found unresponsive on Nov. 30, according to "TODAY."
Sharpe told WSYX, "The more people that see his picture and baby Knox's story, the more people there are to pray for a miracle!"
The family set up a Facebook page called Team Knox Joseph, where they offer updates on their baby.
You can also donate toward Knox's Go Fund Me page.
