How to make money using your Instagram account

    Forbes revealed some quick tips for making money on your Instagram account.

    The publication said Instagrammers with just 100,000 followers could earn $5,000 for a post made in partnership with a brand. While most Instagram users are nowhere near that many followers, Forbes offered a few helpful tips for casual users.

    Forbes said creating high-quality content that appeal to people in your niche, using relevant hashtag, and tagging relevant accounts for a shout-out can help grow your following.

    "Users with more than 100,000 followers have a good chance of finding brands that would partner with them. But even if you have just a few thousand followers, you could still work with brands that need micro-influencers. Use these tips to grow your following on the platform," said Forbes' Shane Barker, a digital marketing consultant who specializes in sales funnels, targeted traffic and website conversions.

    Barker said once you grow your following, you need to determined how much a partnered post is worth.

    "Some influencers may overestimate their worth and charge several thousand dollars when they’re worth only a few hundred. Others may underestimate their worth and only charge a few hundred dollars when they could charge more than $1,000 for each sponsored post," said Barker.

    He said the Webfluential Influence Estimator is a useful tool to gain a better idea of how much your posts are really worth.

    The article said after you figure out how much your posts are worth, find brands to partner with.
