A Columbus man is scrambling to find a new way to get around town after his expensive bicycle is stolen from his North Linden front porch.

“I don’t have a car, so I definitely need it,” said James Freeman, after his locked bicycle vanished while it was chained to his Dresden Street front porch.

Doorbell camera video recorded a man walk up to the front door with bolt cutters and use them to bust open the lock and chain that was wrapped around the bicycle.

“He had to really get in there a certain way, to be able to snap it,” said Freeman, who says moments after the stranger was seen on camera his bicycle, chain, and lock were gone.

Freeman believes the guy captured on video is the one who stole his bicycle, along with someone who was sitting in a white car parked in front of the house

"They must've watching this area for a while now,” said Freeman.

The suspect captured on camera was wearing a striped tank top, had a Mohawk style haircut and tattoos covering his arms and portions of his face.

“I never ever seen him before, with the Mohawk and everything,” said Freeman.
