COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A North Linden man is warning neighbors to be on the lookout for crooks, after alleged thieves broke into his home three times within the past three months.
"That was a scary moment in my life," said the victim who asked not to be identified, "I could've woken up dead"
Since September, he says crooks have broken into his Manchester St home three times, stealing electronics, and family valuables.
During the first break-in, the victim was sound asleep on the couch
"They are stealing play stations, video games, and small TV's," said the victim.
After the first break-in, security cameras were installed around the home, but that didn't stop the criminals from returning two more times.
The culprits apparently not smart enough to notice their every move was being recorded. At one point, one of the hooded crooks looks directly at the camera.
"If you are willing to break into a house knowing someone is there, it's just a matter of time before they try to kill someone, or someone killing them," said the victim.
During the two burglaries captured on camera, the crooks are seen wearing hoodies, and carrying backpacks.
Anyone with information on the crimes are asked to call Columbus Police 614-645-4545.
