COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Neighbors in a northwest Columbus neighborhood now working together to identify three suspects captured on camera, accused of breaking into cars.
“We all know each other here,” said Darrin Grose, “everybody is real nice, we are keeping an eye out for each other’s stuff.”
Folks who live in the Sawmill Forest neighborhood, now on the look-out for suspicious activity, after a rash of car break-ins that took place June 24th in the neighborhood.
“It’s a quiet neighborhood,” said Grose after his security cameras captured three men get inside several unlocked cars inside his Blackjack Court cul-de-sac.
“Opened the glove box, even looked into the sunglass holder, they went through everybody’s car,” said Grose, who said thieves left empty-handed after going through his wife’s Lincoln MDX SUV.
“We work for what we got,” said Grose, “get your own stuff.”
