COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — A Hilltop mom is now struggling to find the cash to replace a power washer stolen last month from the family's front porch.
“I don’t make much money, I have to save up money, to buy the stuff I do buy,” said Ebbonee Dale, who lost a power washer to a suspected crook.
Home security cameras captured a suspect on June 17th, walk up the steps of the Union Avenue front porch and casually grab the $300 washer, Dale was going to use to scrub down her home before painting it.
“Came right up the gate and walked out with it,” said Dale.
Dale installed security cameras to her home after she was repeatedly targeted by crooks who stole her daughter’s bicycle, a hoverboard, electric scooter, and some tools.
“The people in the community, need help,” said Dale, “it’s bad over here.”
Dale tells ABC 6/FOX 28 the recent crime setback not going to stop her from giving her home the fix-up job it deserves.
“I want to live in a nice neighborhood,” said Dale, “I want to have my house look nice, it’s not going to stop me, I am going to save up money and get it done.”
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Columbus Police 614-645-1439 or email cwaddle@columbuspolice.org.
