DUBLIN, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) -- While the biggest names in golf and arguably the biggest in NFL history (Peyton Manning) got in 18 holes on Wednesday before The Memorial's opening round on Thursday, it was the little guys and girls from Nationwide Children's Hospital who shared some of the spotlight.

The "patient champions" joined the foursomes as they made their way around Muirfield Village Golf Course as well as meeting tournament patriarch Jack Nicklaus and honoree Greg Norman.

Kyle Mitchell, the 2016 Nicklaus Youth Spirit Award winner, also got a thrill of his own as he got to walk 18 with Manning and Day.
