A FLOOD WATCH remains in effect for most of Central and all of Southern Ohio until 2 PM on Saturday .

Rain continues to be the story over the next couple of days.

We’ll see more showers and heavy downpours on and off throughout the day today. The heaviest rain will mainly set up between Columbus and the Ohio river. It will be noticeably cooler with highs today only in the upper 40s.

Another round of heavy rain moves across the area overnight tonight and into Saturday morning. Localized flooding will continue to be a concern as another 1–2 inches of rain will fall on already saturated ground. It will be very windy on Saturday with gusts in the afternoon around 50mph.

Sunshine and dry conditions return for Sunday, with things looking much quieter for next week.
