COLUMBUS -- Urban Meyer took a bow with several football Buckeyes celebrating the Rose Bowl win with basketball fans at the Schott last week.

The former Buckeye Head Football Coach was noticeably at ease since stepping down after seven seasons.

His wife, Shelley, attested to the change in Meyer's demeanor since becoming an Assistant Athletic Director under Gene Smith. "The level of intensity for him is now a minus 12 as opposed to a plus 110," Shelley Meyer explained.

Meyer plans to attend the NFL Combine in Indianapolis in late February and the NFL Draft in late April to follow the progress of the players he coached.

He began an mentoring and instructional session with the school's athletic captains Sunday.
