Beyond the Game: Iron Chef Michael Symon rates the Browns and Buckeyes in NFL draft

COLUMBUS -- Iron Chef and restaurateur Michael Symon loves to go beyond the menu as he did at a book signing Sunday in Lewis Center.

The event was in support of his most recent book, Michael Symon's Playing with Fire. The Clevelander shared his sports knowledge with ABC-6'S Alissa Henry, particularly the Browns top pick of quarterback Baker Mayfield.

"It came down to Darnold and Mayfield and since the Buckeyes housed Darold in that bowl game, I was glad to go with Mayfield," Symon told Henry. Symon was also happy with the 4th overall choice of Ohio State defensive back Denzel Ward in the first round.

Symon's book features over 70 recipes inspired by his newest restaurant, Mabel's BBQ in Downtown Cleveland.
