Sefenech Henok

Sefenech Henok joined the ABC 6 team in May 2023 as a weekend evening anchor/reporter.

She is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. Her mother is from Cincinnati, Ohio and her father is from Ethiopia.

You can catch her reports on weeknights on ABC 6 News at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. and on FOX 28 News at 10 p.m.

Sefenech joins the team from WGNO in New Orleans, where she anchored "Good Morning New Orleans" for four years. Before that, she started her career as an anchor/reporter in Casper, Wyoming.

When she isn't working, she enjoys the great outdoors with her dogs Winston and Georgia and considers herself a foodie.

Sefenech is excited to work in the Columbus community and can't wait to share stories impacting residents of Central Ohio.
